Neuroscientist Álvaro Machado Dias is the keynote speaker invited to open ABPI’s 44th International Congress on Intellectual Property. An expert in human behavior and new technologies, with TED talks on Artificial Intelligence (AI), the metaverse, and synthetic heuristics, Dias is a professor at UNIFESP (Federal University of São Paulo) and holds a master’s, doctorate, and post-doctorate.
A partner at the Locomotiva Institute and WeMind, Dias is also the director of the Center for Advanced Studies in Decision Making and a member of Behaviors & Brain Science, Cambridge, and the MIT Tech Review Global Panel. He is the author of the only postdoctoral degree in Brazil focusing on decision-making processes in the human brain.
