Patents & New Technologies (Software Patents, AI, IoT, Blockchain, 4th Industrial Revolution, Telecom)

The purpose of the Patents & New Technologies Commission is to analyze and deepen discussions on the impacts caused by disruptive technologies and new business models throughout the protection and management of Intellectual Property rights, with a focus on the patent system.

Another objective of the Commission is to carry out analyzes of comparative law and behavior in other jurisdictions and deepen discussions with the INPI to guide the application of legislation and guide industrial property agents and operators of law on issues that develop at a speed different from their regulation.
