ABPI and EMERJ promote extension course in intellectual property

Applications for the Extension Course in Intellectual Property are open until August 22, which is being promoted by ABPI (Brazilian Association of Intellectual Property) and EMERJ (School of Magistrates of Rio de Janeiro). The course will have the participation of members of the judiciary and the coordination of the former president of ABPI, Luiz Edgard Montaury Pimenta, and the lawyer Renata Lisboa, of the entity’s board of directors.

“The course will bring very current topics and qualified professors, its great differential is the participation of judges, judges and ministers. commented Montaury Pimenta.

“The course is a great opportunity to update IP topics from the perspective of the lawyer, judge and expert”, added Renata Lisboa.

The syllabus includes three modules:
Industrial property
Extravagant Protections and
Legal Measures.

The course will be taught on the Zoom platform, starting on August 24th and ending on December 5th. Classes will be on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 9 am to 12 pm, for a total of 30 hours.
